About me
I am from Salt Lake City, Utah fifteen minutes from downtown and fifteen minutes from six different ski resorts. I have been a waitress since I was sixteen, but am excited to start the adventure of becoming a teacher through the MAT program here at UAS. I got my bachelor's degree in Biology about a year ago December from UAS, and took the last two winters off to go back to Utah and enjoy the mountains I grew up with. I am getting married to a wonderful man named Chuck. He is from Alaska, and I have recently become comfortable with the idea that Juneau will be my home for a very long time. Chuck brought a dog named Rebel into my life, and he is my inspiration to run, and is my companion when Chuck is gone fishing. This picture is one of me on a friend's boat. As strange as it sounds, I like to take candid self-portraits, and this is one example.
